Dear colleagues, supporters, and fellow aspirants,
As we continue with our campaigns, I wish to remind us all that true leadership is demonstrated not by how loudly we speak against others, but by how strongly we stand for what is right. Elections come and go, but the respect we accord one another will remain long after the ballots are counted.
Let us, therefore, conduct our campaigns with dignity, focusing on issues, ideas, and service rather than on personal attacks. We can win cleanly and honorably — without tarnishing the image or reputation of our competitors.
When we resort to mudslinging, we divert attention from the real challenges facing our members and weaken the unity that binds us together. Let our words build, not break; let our actions inspire, not incite.
In the spirit of professionalism and mutual respect, let us remember that together we can set a higher standard of leadership — one founded on integrity, humility, and respect for all.
