Here are offices of the KUPPET union.
1. Executive Secretary (ES)
- Chief spokesperson and administrator of the union at the branch level. Represents members in all matters, including negotiations and disputes.
2. Assistant Executive Secretary (AES)
- Supports the ES and acts in their absence. Helps manage branch activities and communication with members.
3. Branch Chairperson
- Presides over all branch meetings and ensures decisions are implemented. Provides leadership to the entire executive team.
4. Vice Chairperson
- Assists the Chairperson and steps in during their absence. Takes part in strategic planning and member mobilization.
5. Treasurer
- Manages branch finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring transparency in fund usage.
6. Assistant Treasurer
- Supports the Treasurer and ensures proper record keeping and accountability in financial matters.
7. Secretary Secondary
- Represents the interests of secondary school teachers. Collects and addresses their concerns and proposals.
(Exclusively for SS Teachers)
8. Secretary Tertiary
- Represents members in tertiary institutions like colleges. Advocates for their rights and professional needs.
(Exclusively for Tertiary Tutors)
9. Secretary Gender
- Champions gender equity and women empowerment within the union. Addresses issues affecting female teachers.
10. Organizing Secretary
- Responsible for mobilization, recruitment, and coordinating union activities and events in the branch.
These are the current KUPPET Branch Positions under 2017 Constitution.
Nomination is ksh 50,000 for ES, and ksh 10,000 for the others.

In case 2024/25 Constitution passes, we've more 4 positions;
11. Assistant Secretary Junior School (JS)
- Represents the interests of JSS teachers and advocates for their welfare and professional development.
(Exclusively for JS teachers)
12. Assistant 1st Gender
- Supports the Gender Secretary, focusing on general gender matters and empowering women in union affairs.
13. Assistant 2nd Gender (PLWDs)
- Advocates for the rights and inclusion of teachers living with disabilities.
(Exclusively for PLWDS)
14. Assistant 3rd Gender (Youth)
- Represents young teachers, ensuring their concerns, opportunities, and career growth are addressed.
(Exclusively for teachers below 35 years)
In addition to the 10/14 elective positions, we've Nominations, usually for Women and PLWDs, under discretion of the Executive.
Eligibility to vie or vote is 13weeks of union dues, under both 2017 and 2024 constitution.
Nomination fees under 2024/25 constitution is as follows;
